BATHYMETRY
Meets 3D Imagery
A ground-breaking sonar that provides side scan, swath bathymetry, and stunning 3D point clouds.
We have now combined the Ping 3DSS with our McBathy RC boat for a unique and locally supported solution.
Offering a swath width with each pass of 6-10 times depth, live visibility of data and post processing to CSV or LAS file, the Ping 3DSS Sidescan System offers great benefits. Reduced cost, weight and complexity are other extremely important factors to keep in mind when considering your options.
For rich data collection requirements, we are more than happy to speak to you about our McBathy RC Bathymetry options.
High-resolution underwater imaging and mapping has never been easier or more affordable.

BATHYMETRY SOLUTIONS
Our locally produced McBathy Bathymetry Solutions are a great innovative solution which are designed, built and supported from Brisbane. These solutions include the more conventional single beam McBathy and also, excitingly the Ping 3DSS Sidescan McBathy.

Between these two clever systems, your Bathy needs can largely be met. This includes sedimentation but also specific detail for man-made structures or other anomalies below the water line.
For any further detail required, or for a demonstration please feel free to reach out.

MCBATHY-PING DSP SIDESCAN
The Ping DSP system collects both wide-swath bathymetry and detailed 3D imagery. The 3D imagery augments the survey by providing context about specific targets in the survey area and can be used in real-time to mark and identify hazards.
As with all 3DSS solutions, this addition is competitively priced compared to multibeam solutions, whilst also meeting the same hydrographic standards with a markedly higher area coverage rate, particularly in shallow water.
Through the use of industry-standard survey software, such as Hypack & QINSy etc, this data can be exported to a CSV file or LAS file, satisfying many surveying related output requirements.
